Frustration~!

So I am in the Brisbane area once again. This is the first stop of the National Australian Breastfeeding Association tour. Four conferences in four cities in four days! To boot the hotel I am at just got wireless internet about 1 week ago and it does not seem to work. So I am posting this quick email from an internet kiosk.
Send me good karma for my talks all this week. The first and last talk every day.
I am sure to keep everyone awake with my "wierd" accent.

Breastfeeding Moms Stage 'Nurse In' At Berks Mall

Lesley Van Arsdall
Reporting

(CBS 3) WYOMISSING, Pa. Advocates of breastfeeding are angry over the treatment one mother received while trying to breastfeed her son at the Berkshire Mall.

150 mothers, children, and even husbands came to stage a "nurse in" at the Berkshire Mall, all outraged at he treatment Leigh Bellini received while nursing her seven month old son.

"We were told to go up to the bathroom. We were told to go out to our car or pretty much we would have the cops called on us," said Leigh Bellini.

It's a right not only important to women, but to some men as well.

"There just here to eat. You can eat in the mall, so why shouldn't the babies be able to eat in the mall," said Kent Gultzer, father.

"It's not about breastfeeding. It's about, you know, my baby needs to eat," said Melissa Lazarony, nursing mother.

"I firmly believe in being able to breast feed in public and I just want to take a stand and if I don't stand up for it, who will," said Suzanne Donahue, nursing mother.

So far 36 states have laws protecting a mother's right to breastfeed in public, but Pennsylvania is not one of them and Leigh wants to change that.

"My main goal is to establish a law in Pennsylvania that protects breastfeeding mothers rights to breastfeed their children in public," said Leigh.

And she can't believe all the support behind her.

"I put out my e-mail with the thought I would hear back from some mothers that said, 'Oh that's a shame,'" said Leigh, adding, "And to get such support, to get the media attention, to get all these women out here to support me I'm just, I'm just speechless to be honest with you."
