Redgate Beach

For the weekend of March 31st and April 1st, we headed down to the Margaret River region. This is a vacation area filled with surf beaches, wineries, and breweries. It was a lovely place to spend the weekend. This is Redgate Beach which is right down the road from where we stayed.

It was a wild and rocky beach.

The group presented me with a book on Perth that they all signed. This is Danielle, the PhD student, who has been a fantastic co-worker for me. She has helped me with all aspects of my project and driven me back and forth from the "uni" to the center almost everyday!

Penn Nursing Gear in Perth

I bought t-shirts from my students at home from Student Nurses at Penn. I gave my colleagues each a Penn t-shirt and a "Babies were born to breastfeed" lanyard. They took the liberty to model the gifts and we got these shots of the crazy group!

Flat Henry's First Outing!

Friday night the 30th of March, my colleagues had a little party for me since I only have about a week of work left since next weekend is the Easter Holiday. So after work at 5pm we had pizza and drinks on Matilda Bay. It was a lovely night and so nice to be able to have this time with them before I have to say goodbye.
